Can you believe it? Our first trimester is coming to an end. We are almost there! What that means for you.. Report Cards and conferences! We will be discussing a lot of things at your conference, and most importantly checking in on your scholars progress so far this year! First Fundraiser for 5th Grade Camp

Our first fundraiser is coming home next week in your scholar's Monday Mailer. We are selling Little Caesers pizza kits and your scholar personally earns 5-6 dollars on every kit that they sell. I have had students that have paid for their entire trip to camp through this fundraiser! Please understand that that is not the expectation. Although, I would advise spending a bit of time on this fundraiser as it will really help you out! We have finished adding and subtracting decimals and we are moving on to multiplying and dividing decimals. To start, I will just include the multiplying decimals videos to help you out! Multiplying decimals is just like the standard algorithm. Lining them up and then multiplying one digit at a time. The only thing that is different is the decimal point, which you are going to forget about until the end of the problem when you count the amount of spaces that you need to move the decimals point.
